Nominations are now open for the 2026 Pride In Business Awards.

The Greater Houston LGBTQ+ Chamber of Commerce proudly presents the 2026 Pride In Business Awards, part of our 10-Year Anniversary celebration honoring a decade of building an economy where everyone belongs.

These awards recognize outstanding member businesses, leaders, and advocates who are creating opportunity, championing inclusion, and strengthening the LGBTQ+ economic ecosystem across Greater Houston.

At a time when LGBTQ+ visibility, inclusion, and belonging continue to matter deeply, the Pride In Business Awards shine a spotlight on those who don’t just show support — they lead with purpose, resilience, and impact.

🕛 Nominations must be submitted by 11:59 p.m., Friday, March 20, 2026.

Please note that multiple nominations will not weigh the decision during nomination reviews.  


GENERAL NOMINATIONS CRITERIA

Please review the criteria below before submitting a nomination.

Eligibility & Membership

  • Nominees must be a member or partner in good standing with the Greater Houston LGBTQ+ Chamber of Commerce at the time of nomination.
  • Eligible nominees include Members, Impact Partners, Collaboration Partners, and Strategic Partners
  • Nominations submitted for individuals or organizations that are not current members or partners are not eligible for consideration.

Self-Nominations

  • Self-nominations are allowed and encouraged.

Prior Honorees

  • Previous Pride In Business Award recipients are not eligible to win again in the same category.

LGBTQ+-Designated Awards

  • For awards denoting LGBTQ+ status:
    • Individuals must self-identify as LGBTQ+, or
    • Businesses must be at least 51% LGBTQ+-owned.

LGBTBE® Awards

  • For awards recognizing LGBTBE® businesses:
    • Nominees must be LGBTBE® Certified
    • Certification must be active and in good standing with the National LGBTQ+ & Allied Chamber of Commerce (NGLCC).

Nominator Consent & Nominee Participation

  • By submitting a nomination, you confirm the nominee is willing to accept the award if selected and can attend the Pride In Business Celebration on Friday, June 12, 2026.
  • You confirm that the nominee agrees to participate, prior to the event, in photo shoots, interviews, or related activities, as requested.
  • If nominee is selected as an award recipient, they will promote the event prior to the event date.
