The Greater Houston LGBT Chamber of Commerce is proud to partner with Corporate Partner, Wells Fargo, and the National LGBT Chamber of Commerce (NGLCC), on the Transgender and Gender Expansive (TGX) Pitch Program!

This program is a chance for TGX business owners to informally present your business to a panel of experts and your fellow entrepreneurs for positive, constructive feedback and new ideas. 

If you have a 5 minute (or less) presentation with all the bells and whistles: great!  If not: that’s great, too!  Simply bring your “elevator pitch” and any messaging you’d like to work on with our experts.  This is an open forum!  Although these are mock pitches, these programs are a tremendous opportunity for TGX-owned businesses to form new relationships, learn what other TGX business owners are working on, and support one another in your entrepreneurial journeys. 
 
The program will take place on November 2 from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. CT. Please submit your short application to participate in the program no later than Friday, October 14. 



Additionally, any TGX business owner who pitches or attends this Pitch Program is invited to apply to have their affiliate chamber dues waived in the first year of membership in order to become an NGLCC Certified LGBT Business Enterprise® (LGBTBE) supplier.  LGBTBE Certification fees are waived once your business is an active member of the Greater Houston LGBT Chamber of Commerce.  Thanks to the generous support of Wells Fargo, the NGLCC is accepting applications on a rolling basis through December 2022 for the chamber membership dues waiver.

If you would prefer to watch and cheer on your fellow business owners rather than participate and pitch your business, you can register for the event.  While we are prioritizing TGX business owners for this Pitch Program, all are welcome to attend!
