Join us for the August Brewing Up Business with the Montrose Center at the new Law Harrington Senior Living Center.

For over 40 years, the Montrose Center has empowered our community—primarily lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer (LGBTQ) individuals and their families—to live healthier, more fulfilling lives by providing a number of critical programs to LGBTQ Houstonians.

The Law Harrington Senior Living Center is the Montrose Center’s commitment to fulfilling that mission by providing an affordable senior-housing community that is also LGBTQ-affirming. Tours of the Senior Center will be available.

Brewing Up Business is always a great way to connect virtually with other Chamber members and guests. Kick-start your morning and your business with Brewing Up Business! Grab your coffee, make some new business contacts and enjoy some delish food from Chamber member, the breakfast klub! 

Guests are always welcome...we would love to have you join us! If you haven't been to the Brewing Up Business event, it's a great opportunity to check out the Chamber and meet members and other professionals. With our growing membership and events, you WILL make some great connections. No charge for Chamber members and only $20 for non-members. We look forward to seeing you!

Health & Safety Protocols

The health and safety of attendees is our highest concern. The Chamber is taking all precautions to make sure strict health & safety protocols are being followed. Based on the recent surge in COVID cases, we are evaluating in-person events on a case-by-case basis.

All event attendees should be diligent in following all CDC guidelines. We are asking all attendees to wear a mask and keep your mask on during the event unless eating or drinking. In addition to the wristband indicators noted below, there will be hand sanitizer stations available onsite. If you have not been vaccinated, we ask you to please maintain a social distance from other guests and wear a mask. Please review the specific event health & safety protocols when registering for upcoming events including any host venue requirements. Please stay home if you are feeling sick, or have not been vaccinated, and follow recommended safety protocols.  If you have not been vaccinated, we urge you to get vaccinated.

Grab your wristband!  We're helping our event guests communicate their comfort level with social interaction through wristbands that will be supplied onsite. Regardless of your wristband color of choice, please wear a mask.

  • Purple = You have been vaccinated and are ready to mingle.
  • Green = You are ready to mingle - hugs welcome!
  • Yellow = You can be social from a safe distance - fist bump anyone?
  • Red = Please stay at least 6 feet away, wear a mask and no touching.  

Pick the wristband based on YOUR comfort level. Remember...please wear a mask.
