The Houston Area L.O.V.E. Survey — LGBTQ+ Opinions, Voices & Experiences — is the FIRST community-wide survey of LGBTQ+ life in Greater Houston, covering healthcare, mental health, housing, workplace culture, financial security, discrimination, and more.

Until now, there has been no comprehensive dataset on what LGBTQ+ residents of Greater Houston need, experience, or prioritize. As a result, the lived experiences and voices of LGBTQ+ people across our region have too often been absent from the decisions that shape policy, funding, and community programming.

The report is being released during LGBTQ+ History Month — a fitting moment to put the voices of the Greater Houston LGBTQ+ community on the record and add a new chapter to our community’s story.

Thank you to every person who completed the survey and shared their voice. On October 29, we’ll share what you told us.
