

For the first time, the Greater Houston LGBTQ+ Chamber of Commerce is heading to Houston City Hall for a full day of access, advocacy and connection—and we want you there!

We extend our appreciation to City Council Member Mario Castillo for hosting the Chamber’s first-ever Day at City Hall.

Chamber Day at City Hall will give members an opportunity to engage directly with City Council Members and representatives from City departments, learn more about the work of local government and strengthen relationships with the decision-makers whose actions impact our businesses, our lives and our community.
The day will include visits with Council Members and City departments, lunch and attendance at the afternoon public session, where the Chamber will be recognized.

8:30 a.m. – Arrival and Check-In

Chamber Day at City Hall is complimentary for Chamber members as a benefit of membership. If you would like to stay for lunch, a fee of $20 (in advance) / $25 (on-site) is requested to help offset the cost of lunch.
Not a Chamber member? A limited number of nonmember registrations are available for $45, including lunch.

City Hall is located at 901 Bagby, between McKinney and Walker / Houston, TX 77002.
Going north on I-45, exit Houston / Memorial. Veer to the right. The light is Rusk. Turn right. The first light is Bagby. Continue past Bagby to Theater District Parking Entrance 2 on your right. You will be parking beneath Tranquillity Park.
Going south on I-45, exit McKinney to your left. The first light is Bagby. Turn left. The second light is Rusk. Turn right, then turn into Theater District Parking Entrance 2 on your right.
Security Check-In: All attendees will need to check in with security upon arrival. Please be prepared to go through a metal detector and bag check, and present a photo ID at the front desk to receive your badge.
Getting to the Legacy Room: Walk through the main public entrance off Bagby Street. The Legacy Room is on the right hand wall, following the security check-point.
Paid parking is available in the Theater District Parking Garage beneath Tranquillity Park. Enter through Theater District Parking Entrance 2, located near City Hall at 901 Bagby Street.
Limited metered street parking may also be available nearby; however, posted time limits apply. Because the event will extend into the afternoon, garage parking is recommended. Parking costs are the responsibility of each attendee. Rates typically range from $10–$20 depending on the garage and time of day.
