Description

VIRTUAL LUNCH & LEARN
How to Build an Election-Ready Workplace Ahead of the 2026 Primaries
📆 Tuesday, January 20, 2026  |
🕛 12:00 - 1:00 PM
💻 Zoom | Complimentary for Chamber Impact Partners

Start the year with a timely, nonpartisan look at how civic engagement strengthens workplace culture and improves business outcomes, including higher employee satisfaction and increased productivity.

As we approach the March primaries, In Good Company Institute (IGCI) will break down what the March primaries involve, what they mean for Houston’s business community, and how leaders across departments can create simple supports that help employees participate with confidence. You will also receive access to the Civics at Work Toolkit with ready-to-use resources, clear messaging, and practical actions.

Because when employees understand how civic decisions shape their industries, families, and communities, they feel more grounded at work.

🗳 March Matters to your workplace.

Online registration closes at 10 a.m. on Monday, January 19th.

The LGBTQ+ Workplace Alliance (WPA), powered by the Greater Houston LGBTQ+ Chamber of Commerce, is a program that connects LGBTQ+ and Allied employee resource groups (ERGs / BERGs), corporate partners, and workplace leaders across the region who are committed to building more inclusive, equitable, and economically empowered workplaces across the Greater Houston region.

The WPA convenes leaders from diverse industries to share strategies, learn best practices, and strengthen the visibility and support of LGBTQ+ employees at every level of the workforce. Through ongoing programs, professional development, networking, and civic and community engagement, the WPA fosters stronger workplace cultures and drives business impact by advancing LGBTQ+ inclusion as a cornerstone of economic opportunity.
