Whether you are Picasso, Monet, or Paint by Numbers…get your creative juices going and help us decorate the ornaments for the Chamber’s Holiday "Pride Tree" that will stand in the Alley Theatre’s “Deck the Trees” Celebration this holiday season! Decorating supplies will be available but feel free to bring items that express what the holiday and community mean to you. Lite bites and beverages will be provided.

Deck The Trees is a magical celebration that will transport you into a festive world of wonder this holiday season. Mark your calendars for November 17, 2023 – January 1, 2024, as this year’s event promises to be bigger, brighter, and more captivatingly diverse than ever before.

This is the Alley Theatre's 17th Annual Deck The Trees Celebration. Deck The Trees is an established part of Houston’s annual holiday tradition, with a spectacular display of trees showcased at both Alley Theatre and George R. Brown Convention Center along Avenida de las Americas.

Last year, an astounding 250,000 visitors were captivated by these holiday displays. In addition to spreading holiday cheer, this festive event highlights and celebrates the diversity of Houston and promotes Equity, Diversity, Inclusion, and Access (EDIA) in our shared community.

The trees will showcase local businesses, community groups, well-known companies, and more, representing the vibrant traditions of our diverse city through whimsical, cultural, traditional, and eclectic designs. Each holiday tree will be ornately decorated, perfectly complementing the artistic excellence on stage during the concurrent run of the Alley’s annual holiday production of A Christmas Carol.
