At Nando’s we offer a world of flavor with our PERI-PERI Chicken. We offer Dine-In, Take Out, 3rd Party Delivery and Catering option that can be found on door dash, uber eats and EZ Cater. We also offer vegetarian and vegan options. We have Happy Hour every day from 4 - 6 PM on select beverage items and food items. We offer a variety of beers and wines, a red wine sangria and a peach poncha.

Our Story:

PERi-PERi is the heart and soul of Nando’s. Its story is our story. For centuries the people of Southeast Africa have used PERi-PERi to bring fire to their food. It is in Mozambique’s rich soil and blistering sunshine that the African Bird’s Eye Chilli grows into its fiery best. When Portuguese explorers arrived there, they were enchanted by its flavour. They added a squeeze of lemon and a kick of garlic and turned PERi-PERi into a very well-travelled spice. Which is how, many years later it ended up in Rosettenville, Johannesburg.

One afternoon in 1987, two friends went for lunch at a humble Portuguese eatery. As their meal drew to a close, they knew they’d tasted something that had to be shared. PERi-PERi was about to make one more journey – from Rosettenville to the world.

While enjoying your Peri-Peri Chicken be sure to try a glass of Rubro. RUBRO is a refreshing iced Rooibos tea—and in the USA it’s only available at Nando’s. RUBRO focuses on supporting small-scale farmers who are direct descendants of the indigenous people of the region. They have a deep understanding and inherited knowledge of the Rooibos plant. Rooibos (pronounced roy-boss) means Red Bush Tea. It’s a powerful superfood, caffeine-free, and full of antioxidants. It only grows naturally in the Cederberg Mountains, near Cape Town. It’s a great option for Guests who want an alternative to sugary drinks and offers an opportunity to drive our health and wellness credentials. It also reinforces and celebrates our brand heritage and provenance. RUBRO and Nando’s are a match made in Mzansi (South Africa)!

It’s not just PERi-PERi that comes all the way from Southern Africa. Next time you visit one of our restaurants, take a look around. The art and decor, the music, the energy–it all speaks to our homeland’s heritage. Each restaurant is uniquely designed by location, from furniture and design to light fixtures and art work.
