About
As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 25 years of experience, I understand that healing happens when you feel truly seen and supported. My practice is grounded in both professional expertise and lived experience within the LGBTQIA+ community, allowing me to offer genuinely compassionate, culturally responsive therapy. I specialize in supporting clients through anxiety, depression, and trauma recovery, as well as the unique challenges that come with gender identity exploration, transitions, coming out, family rejection, and significant life changes. My approach recognizes that relationship concerns and grief often intersect with these experiences in complex ways. My approach combines evidence-based methods including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Emotion-Focused Therapy, Attachment-Based work, and Psychoanalytic insight. Rather than applying a one-size-fits-all approach, I work collaboratively with you to customize our sessions based on your unique goals, history, and what feels most supportive for your healing journey. Above all, I believe therapy should be a space where you can explore with curiosity and compassion, both for yourself and from me. Together, we'll work to help you reconnect with your inner strength and move toward the life that truly fits who you are.
